GAMBIT V2 Kayaking shorts

This blend is 90% Recycled Nylon and 10% Spandex - durable and stretchy material with a nice feel. The weight of 165 gsm provides a feeling of substantial protection but will not weigh you down. The fabric absorbs minimum water thanks to DWR protection. The hydrophobic protection is Carbon-free which means no harmful chemicals are entering the water system.

Base nylon is laminated to both the inside and the outside of the sandwich. The filling is 1.5 Alpha open cell foam.
Base is our standard nylon that combines optimum stretch and durability to protect the open cell foam of e.prene.
Alpha foam is an equilibrium between the flexibility and memory of the foam. There is enough flexibility in the foam to allow comfortable movement yet the integrity of the foam is such to handle rough treatment.

SilkSpan combine densely weaved Silk Nylon on the top and knitted Span at the bottom for maximum stretch. Only .5 thin Sigma foam only underlines these characteristics.
Silk is a Nylon/Spandex compound. Thanks to its dense weave and DWR it is hydrophobic. It does not absorb water and therefore remains lighter when immersed. Its flexibility offers stretch comfort unparalleled to any other neoprene compound.
Span compliments the stretch of the Silk on the top. Because it is knitted it give your a plush feeling - it feels softer - more organic like a cotton shirt.
