Hiko Devils Extreme Race, the legendary whitewater race, will make history on August 22–23, 2025, when the World Championships in extreme kayaking come to the iconic Devil’s Streams below the Lipno dam.

Saturday’s semifinals and finals take place on the notorious section known as “Schody” ("The Stairs") — the most challenging stretch of the Vltava River below the Lipno dam.
There’s no car access, but a scenic bike path leads right to the action. You can also get there on foot — either upstream from the Čertova Stěna train stop, or downstream from Loučovice.
Expect an epic show: the world’s top kayakers will battle through boulders and rapids, fighting for the fastest line and the world title.
