Where did you start?

In Malá Skála under the leadership of Mirko Šimek in the TJ Delfín Jablonec nad Nisou section.

Who has influenced you the most in your career?

My parents, who supported me from the beginning, and coach Jíro, without whom I would certainly not be where I am now.

What is your favorite river?

Clams. I have fond memories of her from my youth. For the few days a year it flowed, we had to build our own gates, but then we had the whole river to ourselves.

You won't ride better than me!

In the beginning you only trained with your sister, how did it suit you?

Sister teased me, she was doing better than me, but that probably provoked me to train more. Even the coach told me that I hit her with a paddle and yelled: "You won't ride better than me". But I don't remember that at all.

What is your best boating experience?

World Championship in Pau where I won. I still get chills when I think about it.

Who is the best kayaker/canoeist in the world?

I can't say one name. In kayak Peter Kauzer, Jíra, Vítek and in singles Saša Slafkovský, Denis Gargauat Chanut and I always thought Tony Estanguet was a terrible fighter.

Who do you like to follow on IG and why?

I like watching Nikolka Šopaholíková and her friends the most, because I'm very interested in fashion and such. She can always advise me on what goes well with what. It's because of her that I stopped tucking my sweatshirt into my sweatpants.
